Horseback Camp at Oceanwood you will
find lessons geared to you no matter your skill level. From
Young Riders Camp through Advanced Horseback our staff is ready
to help take you to the next level.
Along
with learning these new skills, you'll have a blast with all
of the camp activities, from crafts to canoeing, climbing wall
to campfires, this week of camp will be unforgettable.
SKILLS LIST
BEGINNER
SKILLS: Walking, steering, control of the horse, horse
anatomy and grooming skills
INTERMEDIATE
SKILLS: Posting trot, cantering, ground pole and pre-jumping
along with work on foundational horsemanship
ADVANCED
SKILLS: Cantering, beginning jumping, bending and collection
along with other foundational skills in equitation.
